I have the honour to inform you that a despatch has been received from the Secretary of State for the Colonies authorising this Government to take from you on the esme terms as before the balance of the opin seized last year on H.M.S. "Cairo". As I am not certain of the eract quantity or description of the opium in question, it would seem advisable to follow the course which was adopted last December in the oase of the main consiguent,

As regards the price offered I would draw your attention to the 6th and 7th paragraphs of Sir R. E. Stubba' letter No.2036/1921 dated 12th Auget, 1921.
